Consultations:
We will be happy to spend a few moments on the phone with you discussing your legal issue, what basic steps you may want to take, and how we may help. We do not offer free lengthy consultations, but will work with each potential client to see how we may help while being sensitive to your budget. We are happy to schedule a 30 or 60 minute consultation to discuss your legal issue and give you the basic information and framework necessary to make informed decisions regarding your situation. Hourly rates will apply for consultations. Minimum of 30 minute consultation.
One-time 30 minute Basic Consultation:
If you wish to discuss your legal situation in detail beyond an initial brief discussion, we are happy to schedule an initial 30 minute Basic Consultation for $75.00. These 30 minute consultations are a good opportunity for us to discuss your unique circumstances, answer questions you may have, and help you understand possible next steps you may wish to take. We have helped many people gain valuable insight into their legal situation and options after only 30 minutes. Additional work beyond 30 minutes will be charged at our normal hourly rate. If, after the 30 minute Basic Consultation, you retain us for one or more hours of additional work at our regular rate, then we will credit you with $75.00 toward the additional work.
Rates:
Legal matters can be costly. We understand this. Our regular hourly rates are in line with other Front Range law firms. The Fry Law Firm, LLC is dedicated to providing competent representation at affordable rates. We know that some clients have limited resources and we try to ensure our rates reflect this understanding. While the uncertainties of litigation and a client's choices during the course of representation often make it difficult to determine a "total" amount that a legal matter may cost, we will be happy to discuss what you may expect to incur depending upon the facts and nature of your legal matter. Payment plans or reduced retainer amounts may be available depending upon a client's unique situation. Please contact us directly to discuss attorney rates.
Fee Agreements and Representation:
If you determine that you would like to retain The Fry Law Firm, LLC to represent you, then we will ask you to sign a fee agreement with us. In addition, and depending upon the nature of the case, we may ask for a retainer. A retainer is an amount paid upfront and placed in a trust account, pursuant to Colorado law. Retainer amounts help ensure that we are paid for our services, but the retainer is only drawn down when we bill you for services performed or costs incurred during the course of representation. Any amounts that remain unused or unearned will be returned to you once your matter is resolved.
Payment:
We accept cash, check, PayPal, Venmo, or credit cards. Credit card, PayPal or Venmo transactions may be subject to certain additional processing fees.
